I am an artist, visual designer and UX enthusiast…
I’m seeking full-time opportunities in the broad field of UX, both in design and research. I have practical experience designing and building interfaces, using both block-style builders and proprietary software, as well as building and augmenting websites using custom HTML, CSS and JS via WordPress.
I’m currently enrolled with the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF), where I study UX design and research. I’m using this learning to develop case studies and prototypes.
I previously attended OCADU In Toronto, Canada, where I studied in the Digital Futures and Illustration programs. There, I developed practical knowledge around the formal elements of design, and applied that knowledge to projects in illustration, graphic design and animation. In Digital Futures, we were challenged to use programmable microcontrollers to bridge the digital-analog gap for the purposes of storytelling.
I produce cinematic images and video sequences using generative A.I. tools including Midjourney and Pikalabs. I develop prompts using precise vocabulary and image references pulled from 20th century cinema and photography, as well as periods of art history and their associated movements in oil painting, textiles and architecture.
I’m in the process of writing and illustrating a sequel trilogy to L. Frank Baum’s classic fairytale, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900). I’m taking inspiration from science fiction juggernauts including Alice Bradley Sheldon to produce my own science fiction take on the Land of Oz.
I am a contributor on outlier.ai, where I help train generative A.I. models using linguistic and comparative analysis.
Below, you’ll find my ongoing projects and case studies.
Expanding Oz
A creative project exploring the use of generative A.I. to visualize an expanded universe based on L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1990); researching, authoring and illustrating new works of fiction based on the public domain source material
